SoulCalibur tells the tale of warriors searching for the ultimate sword, "Soul Edge". Many strong warriors searched for years, but very few actually found it. After each mission the performance of the player is graded and he is given a score, which can unlock new masks and weapons, if the score is sufficiently high.

The inhabitants of the Underground are called "monsters", a diverse and intelligent group who have been banished from the surface following a war with humanity. Bleach is the story of Ichigo Kurasaki, a scrappy high-schooler who is thrown into battling ghosts, death gods, and more. He is studying to be a Shinigami, responsible for taking care of the souls of the dead as well as dispatching ghosts and malevolent spirits. Because Ichigo can see these spirits, he got tangled up in a fight between a Shinigami and an evil ghost. The Shinigami, Rukia, was forced to save him, but in order for them both to survive, she gave him her powers. Now, under her guidance, he's working to become a full Shinigami, mastering combat and magical powers.

Spike Spiegel is one of the best space cowboys around, and he's glad to have partner Jet Black along for Jet's sharpshooting skills and his company.
