SoulCalibur tells the tale of warriors searching for the ultimate sword, "Soul Edge". Many strong warriors searched for years, but very few actually found it. Cute, colorful, and fun, Tokyo Mew Mew has been well-received as an entertaining entry in the magical girls manga world. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, and there's plenty of cute outfits, sparkly backgrounds, and romantic storylines. Lurking somewhere underneath that is a environmental message, but it tends to take second place to the five girls' adventures. Artist Mia Ikumi's drawings are just as free-flowing and high-energy as the main character's personality. Tokyo Mew Mew is like a piece of cake—sweet and enjoyable.
A sci-fi tale in the style of a Western, Trigun follows the adventures of gunslinger Vash the Stampede and the motley crew that follows him across the planet of Gunsmoke. Action-packed and full of stylistic nods to the pulp genre, Trigun begins as a light, fun romp, but quickly matures into something weightier. Dancing between boisterous comedy and serious drama, Trigun eventually ends up as multifaceted and enjoyable as its characters are.
Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and cigarettes. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction.
Bleach is the story of Ichigo Kurasaki, a scrappy high-schooler who is thrown into battling ghosts, death gods, and more. He is studying to be a Shinigami, responsible for taking care of the souls of the dead as well as dispatching ghosts and malevolent spirits. Because Ichigo can see these spirits, he got tangled up in a fight between a Shinigami and an evil ghost. The Shinigami, Rukia, was forced to save him, but in order for them both to survive, she gave him her powers. Now, under her guidance, he's working to become a full Shinigami, mastering combat and magical powers.

Gameplay revolves around the characters navigating environments around their town and fighting enemies using their Personas. During the course of the game, the player can create new Personae for battle using spell cards gained in battle or by talking with enemies.
