Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Grew Up… with incredible mutant powers. Wolverine was born as James Howlett in 1832, and was a sickly child until his mutant form expressed itself. One day, bone claws grew through his knuckles and he developed the uncanny ability to heal. Wolverine ages very slowly and lives far beyond the normal human life span.
Living… on the road in Canada. He makes money winning cage fights, knowing that his incredible strength and powers will always leave him on top. Now known as Logan, he can’t remember his past, and lives as a drifter. A young girl calling herself Rogue, a fellow mutant, is intrigued by his powers and starts traveling with him. Wolverine initially tries to shake her, but she proves more persistent than expected.
Profession… fighter. Wolverine is a natural warrior. His nearly indestructible body has made him an unstoppable fighter over the years.
Interests… cigars and alcohol. Wolverine can either be found in bars or fighting in a ring. When asked if he drinks to forget, he replies, “No. I’m drinking to remember.”
Relationship Status… a lone wolf. Women flock to him but he mostly keeps to himself – that’s the only way he knows how to live.
Challenge… to discover his past. His previously aimless quest becomes clearer as other mutants find their way into his life.
Personality… tough, bad to the adamantium-covered bone. Wolverine acts like he needs no one else in the world, and he’s usually right. But, sometimes when he needs help the most, he’s too proud and headstrong to admit it. His hot temper often gets the best of him.
