Kingdom Hearts is based on various Disney stories, referred to in-game as "Worlds". For example, the World based on Disney's Alice in Wonderland features appearances by Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts. Interacting with these characters forms part of gameplay, while combating the games enemies, the "Heartless" forms the other. Successful completion of a World is accomplished by defeating a key foe, which is either the primary villain from the Disney story, a unique Heartless of particular strength, or a combination thereof.
Jay Pritchett is the patriarch of a chaotic and intertwined "modern" family. Jay was married to DeDe, the flighty mother of his children Claire and Mitchell who are now grown up with children (and challenges) of their own. The Legend of Korra follows Korra, who is an Avatar. Fortunately, Korra just has to master the bending of air, and she'll have all four elements under her belt. Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with Tenzin, her airbending teacher.

In Undertale, the player controls a human child as they navigate the fictional Underground: a large, secluded region underneath the surface of the Earth. The inhabitants of the Underground are called "monsters", a diverse and intelligent group who have been banished from the surface following a war with humanity. The child interacts with many monsters on their quest to return to the surface, with the player making decisions on whether to kill or befriend them. These choices affect the outcome of the game to a large degree, with the dialogue and story outcome changing based on their decisions.
