Character Analysis

Grew Up... a boy robot. Mega Man, or Rock as he was originally named, is an advanced robot modeled after a human boy designed to learn and grow independently. His predecessor was the helpful but enigmatic Proto Man.
Living... with Dr. Light. Mega Man lives with his creator Dr. Thomas Light, who treats Mega Man as his own son. He also hangs out with his robotic sister Roll, and his robot animal friends Rush the dog and Beat the bird.
Visiting... the Robot Masters. To stop the evil Robot Masters, Mega Man travels to their various domains inside volcanoes, forests, and dangerous factories ,enduring whatever obstacles they have in store.
Profession... fighting robot. To combat the forces of evil, Mega Man was converted into a fighting robot. He received a powerful arm cannon along with many other new abilities.
Interests… upgrading himself. Whenever Mega Man defeats a Robot Master, he upgrades himself with its technology. These new powers, like metal blades and leaf shields, just make it that much easier for him to take on the rest of his foes.
Relationship Status... single. Mega Man is both a robot and a child, so he doesn’t really know what to do with human women. However, living with Dr. Light has shown him what it means to be a part of a loving family.
Challenge... defeating Dr. Wily. Mega Man’s nemesis is Dr. Albert Wily, Dr. Light’s rival and manipulator of the Robot Masters. No matter how many times Mega Man sends Dr. Wily to jail, he always finds a way to weasel his way out, much to Mega Man’s frustration.
Personality... peace-loving. Although Mega Man frequently fights, his ultimate goal is achieving everlasting peace. As he says, “I’ll keep on fighting for peace for both humans and robots!”

This particular Mega Man game is one of the most challenging with very interactive sprite powers. Three items are of absolute importance: The Air Dash sprite sheet, the N (Chimera) armor, and the Dual Buster. The last two are needed to get items, but the Air Dash is essential to even reach some of the bosses, making it the first item you should ever attempt to get.

Mega Man V, known as Rockman World 5, is a video game developed and published by Capcom for the Game Boy handheld game console. It is the fifth and final game in the Game Boy version of the original Mega Man series. The game follows the adventures of the protagonist Mega Man as he must defend the Earth from a group of powerful robots from outer space called the "Stardroids". Mega Man V was also unique from the previous Game Boy Mega Man games as it features original and unique bosses rather than recycling those from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Mega Man games.

The plot of Mega Man X7 takes place in the 22nd century, during an age when humans coexist with humanoid robots called "Reploids". As some Reploids participate in violent and destructive crime, a police organization called the "Maverick Hunters" has been established to stamp out this activity. Maverick crime is rising in newly constructed cities. As this new crime wave hits, X retires, tired from the never-ending battles. A new group of vigilantes, Red Alert, is introduced. One of their members, Axl, decides he has had enough of their "murdering" and tries to leave the group. Red, the group's leader, is angered by Axl deserting, and goes on a rampage to get Axl back.

The 8-bit old-schoolers of the world have spoken. And boy, did they do so decisively. When Capcom released the NES-style Mega Man 9 back in 2008, they did it as a piece of one-off fan service, and no matter how good the game was (and it was very, very good), no one expected another 8-bit offering in the core series. And yet, here it is. Mega Man 10 can be found on WiiWare, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in all of its retro glory. And, it, too, is very good.
