Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable), Wide Awake is the tale of a ten-year-old boy in a Catholic school who, following the death of his beloved grandfather, embarks on a quest for the meaning of life. This takes the form of making sure not only that Heaven exists but that his grandfather has gone there.
