Guillermo was inspired by Antonio Banderas's role in Interview With A Vampire. As he explains, he had never seen a Hispanic vampire before, and he thought: if he can do it, why can't I? Guillermo is pursuing his dream by working for Nandor the Relentless, hoping that eventually Nandor will make him a vampire. But he's starting to wonder if Nandor is ever planning on actually turning him, and it's starting to create resentment.
