Roseanne revolves around the Conners, an Illinois working-class family: Roseanne, Dan, and their fourchildren. The Conner household is always a few steps from all-out chaos. This is partly because Roseanne is not your typical homemaker—not by any stretch. She's domineering, sarcastic, and messy, but she nevertheless shows her love for her family in other ways.
