Overview... the strongest man in Ikekuburo, and decidedly unhappy about it. Shizuo's capable of lifting refrigerators and throwing vending machines, but as he tells most people, "I hate violence. I'm not lying." Unfortunately, Shizuo's temper makes it hard for him to rein his strength in, and afterwards, he's always remorseful for the damage he's caused. Except, of course, when it comes to Izaya Orihara – he can go die, for all Shizuo cares.
Personality... gruff, hotheaded, and insecure. Due to his strength, Shizuo is universally feared throughout not only Ikekuburo district, but also Tokyo as a whole. As a result, he doesn't have many friends – and coupled with his tendency for accidentally hurting those he loves – Shizuo has grown up hating both his strength and himself. He is a loyal friend, though, and given his ability to wrench street signs from the ground, he’s definitely a useful one to have in dangerous Ikekuburo.
