Jeremy Reed

Grew Up… in a strict British household. He explains that his entire family is British-elitist and that they were terribly disappointed when Jeremy decided to attend medical school in the U.S. He did his residency alongside Mindy Lahiri and Danny Castellano and was hired at Shulman & Associates with them.

Living… in New York City with a rotating door of one-night stands sharing his bed every night.

Profession… OB/GYN at Shulman & Associates. Though he’s a good doctor, Jeremy seemingly gets most of his patients by using his irresistible charm. He often has trouble breaking bad news to his patients because he likes being liked by them, so he forces Danny or Mindy to do it for him.

Interests… in his own words, “I love sex. I do it a lot. I do it well.”

Relationship Status… constantly hooking up with beautiful women. Due to his good looks, debonair sense of style, lucrative career, charm, and, of course, his British accent, he’s certainly not lacking in potential partners. It appears as though he’s never been in a serious relationship, perhaps due to the fact that he claims to not care about the women he sleeps with.

Challenge… keeping the office under control. Before Dr. Shulman left the practice, Jeremy was acting supervisor of Mindy and Danny. Even though they agreed to be equal partners after Dr. Shulman left, Jeremy still acts like he’s in charge. Though in large part that’s because neither Mindy nor Danny want the headaches that come with making organizational decisions, so Jeremy is stuck being the “boss.”

Personality… charming, haughty, and self-centered, yet sensitive. Though he boasts that he’s a ladies man who can love ‘em and leave ‘em – and he’s mostly right – he’s really a big softy at heart.
