The child interacts with many monsters on their quest to return to the surface, with the player making decisions on whether to kill or befriend them. These choices affect the outcome of the game to a large degree, with the dialogue and story outcome changing based on their decisions.
Cute, colorful, and fun, Tokyo Mew Mew has been well-received as an entertaining entry in the magical girls manga world. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, and there's plenty of cute outfits, sparkly backgrounds, and romantic storylines. Lurking somewhere underneath that is a environmental message, but it tends to take second place to the five girls' adventures. Artist Mia Ikumi's drawings are just as free-flowing and high-energy as the main character's personality. Tokyo Mew Mew is like a piece of cake—sweet and enjoyable.

Saved by the Bell follows five best friends during their time at Bayside High School in Los Angeles. The show covered all walks of high school life, from Zack Morris, the consummate schemer and rabble rouser to A.C. Slater, the amiable jock, to Screech the lovable geek, to Jessie Spano the feminist scholar, to Kelly Kapowski the teenage dream girl. At its best, the show was aspirational, showing a school that had almost zero ties to reality, and seemed to exist in some happier Day-glo universe. You either knew people like them, or you wanted to.
