Zim

Profession… well, it’s a long story. As an Irken, Zim was tasked with invading planets and absorbing them into the Irken empire. Due to his ineptitude, however, he nearly destroyed his homeworld during Operation Impending Doom and the leaders of the Irken revoke his title of invader and banish him. Much to their dismay, this doesn’t keep Zim away and when he overhears plans for Operation Impending Doom II, they grant him the “Top Secret” mission to invade a “very important” planet, Earth.

Interests… plotting and tinkering. Although it is true that most Irkens are devoted to their route as conquers, Zim takes this to the ultimate extreme. There is never a moment where Zim isn’t plotting a new scheme or tinkering with a new device that he can use to further his goal of earthly domination.

Relationship Status… single. Zim has no need for romance as he is far too busy taking over the pitiful planet Earth. He does however have time for his robotic companion, Gir. Together, they develop the machines Zim uses in his various attempts to destroy Earth. Unfortunately for Zim, Gir may be even more incompetent than he is, given that he’s often shattering stuff when left unsupervised and rarely completes instructions he’s tasked with. 

Conflict… thwarting Dib. Zim’s efforts to destroy Earth have mostly gone unnoticed by the pathetic earthlings. Well, that’s except for one alien-obsessed elementary schoolboy and his unfazed sister. As Zim’s self-sworn nemesis, 12-year-old Dib uses his vast intellect and his father’s resources to thwart and expose the alien at every turn. If it weren’t for the opposition of this meddling human, Zim surely would’ve destroyed earth by now. (Although, maybe not on purpose).

Personality… chaotic, proud, and ambitious. Zim desperately wants to prove to himself and to the Irkens back home, who shun him for his height and past failure, that he is the elite invader he believes himself to be. Luckily, Zim is oblivious to their true feelings as he continues proudly attempting to achieve his goal. Zim is proud of his abilities. As he says to a rival, “Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants! The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!”
