Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Grew Up… in a huge family, so his mother never had time for him. As he explains: “When you're the middle ant in a family of five million, you don't get any attention. And my father was basically a drone; the guy flew away when I was just a larva. So I've always had these abandonment issues.”
Profession... soil relocation engineer, which means he spends his days hauling dirt around. He can only handle ten times his body weight, so it's not easy for him. Plus there's not much of a future in it.
Interests... hanging out with his friend Weaver, who is a soldier. They've known each other since birth; Weaver was born two seconds before him. Since he’s a soldier, Weaver doesn't get to meet girls very often, so he wants Z to introduce him to the girls he works with.
Relationship Status... single and hopeless. Ever since Bala asked Z to dance, he hasn't been able to stop thinking about her. There were sparks between them on the dance floor, and she even left her scarf for him, which must be a sign. But he has since found out that Bala is a princess, so she probably would never fall for a lowly worker like him. Or would she?
Challenge... getting to see Bala, who lives in a palace full of guards. His plan is to take Weaver's place as a soldier for the royal inspection, and hopefully love will be rekindled when their eyes meet again. But if this doesn't work, he's in trouble. The penalty is high for impersonating a soldier.
Personality... a pain in the rear-segment, or so his friend Azteca says. She doesn't want to see anything bad happen to him, so she advises him to quit mouthing off before he gets in trouble. Unsurprisingly, this proves difficult for the quirky and individualistic Z.
