Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Grew up… in Japan. Focused on the present, Yoru does not talk much about his past. However, as a fighter of his stature and with an amazing ability to teleport through dimensions, it is safe to assume that he did not have what one would call a typical upbringing.
Role… duelist. Yoru employs a very aggressive style of play that revolves around confusing the enemy and leaving them clueless to where he will strike until it is too late. He often wins engagements via the element of surprise.
Interests… playing mind games with opponents. Yoru has a lot of tricks up his sleeve, including throwing an orb to flash enemies, teleporting sites at a given location, sending out decoy footsteps in a certain direction, and momentarily phasing into a different dimension, and making him invisible to enemies outside of a given radius. He loves to disorient his enemies and strike them down in their confusion.
Challenge… using his teleporting skills in the right way. His ability to teleport around the map is incredibly valuable, however that is, only if it is used cautiously and strategically. If placed right, Yoru can launch effective surprise attacks on the enemy, but if placed sloppily he may be putting himself directly in harm’s way. Yoru must make sure to use special precision with his abilities.
Personality… stoic, focused, and deceptive. Yoru never lets his guard down because he knows more than well what happens to his enemies that do. On the battlefield, he displays a quiet toughness and a laser focus that makes him so successful and efficient. He never fails to remind everyone around him to stay locked in and ready to go at a moment's notice. Yoru is not a great traditional team player as he has no problem with leaving his teammates in the dust and taking care of business himself. However, he still proves an asset for his team and leads by example with his infectious determination and toughness which show his teammates that he truly cares about what matters: winning.
