Overview... a father trying to make amends. Some 36 years ago, a drug-addicted William left his infant son at a firehouse after his wife died in childbirth. But he’s given a fresh start decades later when a grown-up Randall tracks him down. Although their relationship is just beginning, Randall invites William to move in with him. William strives to make loving connections with his newly found family – including Randall’s two daughters – while battling stage-four stomach cancer.
Personality... calm, introverted, and artistic. William has led a tough life, but his journey to sobriety taught him patience and acceptance. He owns his past mistakes, but he’s also at peace with the man he is today. Nicknamed “Shakespeare” because of his artistic soul, William is a talented piano player and singer.
