Viridiana

Overview... a young nun-in-training visiting her uncle’s estate at his invitation. Now her uncle has insisted on marrying her, and hasn't let up on the subject. He says his passion for her is what caused his invitation. She doesn’t have the experience to deal with such a strange and unsettling scenario, but he may be underestimating her. That’s even clearer when she soon sets her mind to reforming the lives of the local vagabonds.

Personality... devout and compassionate, but perhaps a touch mad. The locals think Viridiana is either crazed with religion or rotten at the core. But in her mind, all she wants to do is give passing beggars a roof, some food, and a bit of human warmth. In spite of all the danger, she remains optimistic. Perhaps she’ll go back to the convent one day.
