Violet Baudelaire

Living... on her own with at age 14 with her younger brother Klaus and her baby sister Sunny. Violet’s an orphan – an ordeal which is hard enough on its own without sinister men killing your guardians.

Profession... mom. As the eldest of her siblings, Violet is a natural leader and immediately takes on the role of looking after her two siblings even though she's just a kid herself.

Interests... anything relating to science. She is a gifted inventor and has won many awards for her talent (the first at the age of five).

Challenge... man-eating leeches, friendly vipers, and carnivorous circuses. And the biggest challenge of all is outsmarting the dastardly Count Olaf, who’s determined to acquire their family's fortune. 

Personality… wildly intelligent, resourceful, and strong. A talented inventor and a quick thinker, Violet is good at using her smarts to get out of difficult situations. Whether it’s a fire, an arranged marriage, or a pit of lions, there’s almost no predicament that Violet can’t think her and her siblings out of. Unfortunate or not, one thing is certain about her and the other Baudelaires – they’re an amazing team.
