Grew Up... in Europe in the 1800s. His wealthy parents had a house in Geneva as well as a lake house in the country. Growing up, Victor was inseparable from his best friend, Henry, and his adopted sister, Elizabeth Lavenza. Elizabeth was an orphan who was found by Victor’s mother who thought Elizabeth would make a good wife for Victor some day.
Living... in Ingolstadt, Switzerland. He came there to study natural philosophy and chemistry at the University of Ingolstadt. Though Victor quickly realized that he knew more than his professors.
Profession... scientist. Since his first scientific experiment, that is all he ever wanted to be. A kind of frenzy blinded him to anything else but the laboratory.
Relationship Status... in love with Elizabeth who is patiently waiting for Victor to return to her.
Challenge... regretting his eight-foot creation. For nearly two years, Victor diligently worked toward his goal of infusing life into a dead body. But when he finished and achieved everything he set out to do, he said, “The beauty of the dream vanished, and breathless horror and disgust filled my heart.” His dream has turned into his worst nightmare – he created a monster!
Personality... impassioned, serious, and arrogant. Victor had been so cocky that he saw himself almost as a god who could create life. But the failed experiment has humbled him, to say the least. Victor is becoming anxious, depressed, and secretive.
