Grew up… with his brother Max who was a scientist who believed the center of the Earth could be reached through "volcanic tubes.” But unfortunately Max died years ago, and the cause of his death has always been a mystery. With Max gone, Trevor has become a father figure to Max’s teenage son, Sean.
Visiting… Iceland. Trevor decided to go there after Sean visited him and showed him a copy of Jules Verne’s book, Journey to the Center of the Earth, which used to belong to Max. Max’s handwritten notes inspired Trevor to look into an Icelandic volcano. He decides to bring Sean along, but lays some ground rules down for him: "If your mother asks you where you went this weekend, tell her your uncle took you to Italy."
Profession… geologist. Trevor is a brilliant scientist, but he knows that he needs some help in his expedition when he is alerted that the volcano is showing signs it might explode. He tries to reach out to an Icelandic colleague, but finds out from his daughter Hannah that he had died a few years ago. Luckily, Hannah is very knowledgeable about volcanoes and agrees to join them.
Interests… adventure. But he seems that he has gotten more than he’s bargained for.
Relationship Status… in love with his work and married to science. However, he hits it off with Hannah. Sparks are starting to fly metaphorically, beyond the ones that are physically flying.
Challenge… navigating an unknown world. When they all arrive at the volcano, they get trapped inside and fall down into the center of the earth. A whole new world is revealed to them, one that is filled with man-eating plants, dinosaurs, and rugged terrain. And maybe it also holds clues to find out what happened to Max.
Personality… intellectual and nerdy but also rugged and fearless. Trevor never once seems to show any signs he is scared– whether he is parasailing or being chased by beasts.
