Overview… a Puerto Rican woman living in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. She and her boyfriend Mookie have a son named Hector, who lives with Tina and her mother. A lot of people in her life “make her sick,” including Mookie and her mother, and the heat wave in Brooklyn is not easing her annoyance at all.
Personality… tough and self-assured. Tina works hard and has high expectations of the people in her life. She does have a soft side, though, which comes out in quieter, more sensual moments with Mookie.
