(Avoiding Spoilers)

Grew Up… crown prince of Asgard. Thor grew up hearing tales of his father, Odin, and other valiant Asgardian heroes who proved themselves in battle against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim. Thor is ready to prove himself equal to these heroes.

Living… in his father’s palace. Thor constantly sports with his brother, Loki, and other Asgardian warriors. A lifetime of winning these contests has made Thor headstrong and arrogant.

Profession… prince and warrior. Thor is short-tempered and strong-willed – two characteristics that his father believes will prevent him from being a good king. His childish tendencies may place his future throne in jeopardy.

Interests… glory. After risking the lives of fellow Asgardians, his father strips him of his hammer, Mjolnir, and banishes him to Earth. Aspects of this world intrigue him. After taking his first sip of coffee, he announces, “This drink... I like it!” He cast the mug to the ground, smashing it and shouts, “ANOTHER!”

Relationship Status… single. Thor finds himself on a strange planet, Earth, and in the care of astrophysicist, Dr. Jane Foster. The two have very little in common, but share an undeniable chemistry.

Challenge… protecting the nine realms from the Frost Giants. In order to save his own planet and kingdom, Thor will have to learn to care for another: Earth. Thor must mature and become worthy of wielding Mjolnir in order to be able to take care of the people he cares about.

Personality… gregarious and demanding. Thor is used to having his way. Thus he’s loud, proud, and extremely self-confident.
