Theo Huxtable

Living... in Brooklyn Heights, New York, with his parents Cliff and Clair, and three of his four siblings, Denise, Vanessa, and Rudy. Theo is the middle child and the only boy of the Huxtable children, so he often naturally feels out of place in the family. Nevertheless, the very close and loving environment of the Huxtable house is a great place to grow up.

Profession... student. Theo has trouble focusing and devoting himself to his studies. Even when he does put effort into it, he has a lot of difficulty getting good grades, something that his parents are constantly pressuring him about. "You're a doctor and Mom's a lawyer,” he tells his father, “and you're both successful in everything and that's great! But maybe I was born to be a regular person and have a regular life."

Relationship Status...  girl crazy. Theo tries as hard as he can to come off as appealing to the opposite sex. He desperately wants to buy a fancy car or motorcycle, and argues that, "Those who walk, walk alone," but of course doesn't have anywhere near enough money to afford it. Generally, he tries too hard, focusing on his appearance and social status to impress girls. 

Challenge... school. Although he is a good kid, he often feels that he has no other option but to work hard and go to college. This is obviously positive motivation but adds a lot of stress to his teenage years.

Personality... underachieving, athletic and troublemaking. Theo focuses on socializing, sports, and girls far more than anything that will really benefit him for the future. He has good intentions though and is generally a caring person. He’s just a typical teenager, trying to find his calling in life. His parents give him a hard time on a regular basis, but only because they care about him and want him to succeed, something that he fails to recognize at times but is ultimately appreciative of.
