The Genie

Living... in the Cave of Wonders in the Middle East. For ten thousand years, he was trapped there inside a tiny magical oil lamp. And he’s got a bad crick in his neck to show for it. But after a young man named Aladdin found the lamp and rubbed it, the Genie was finally released from his tiny living space.

Profession... slave to his new master, Aladdin. The Genie, who has cosmic powers, is indebted to Aladdin and has granted him three wishes. But romance is off limits; the Genie can't make anybody fall in love with anybody else. And three wishes is the absolute limit; a wish for more wishes doesn’t count.

Interests… flying around on a magic carpet Aladdin found in the Cave of Wonders.

Relationship Status... unfulfilling. He's been looking for someone for a million years.

Challenge... wanting his freedom. Aladdin promised to use his third wish to set him free, but he is not sure if Aladdin is going to go through with it. As he says, "To be free. Not to have to go "Poof! Whaddaya need," "Poof! Whaddaya need," "Poof! Whaddaya need?". To be my own master. Such a thing would be greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world."

Personality... too big to be contained in a tiny lamp. Wacky, funny, and full of energy, he is truly larger than life. Genie is the perfect party buddy, granting every wish we might have along the way and keeping the night good-spirited. You could count on Genie keeping his cool if things got too intense.
