Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Grew Up… in the most unconventional way. The Creature came to life when a mad scientist named Victor Frankenstein created him out of dead bodies, dangerous chemicals, and an electric surge. The Creature never had a childhood; he was born over eight feet tall.

Living... without any money, friends, or property. He lives in a refuge loosely constructed of wood, which protects him from the snow and rain.

Interests… learning. His days are spent in close attention to others so that he might learn to speak properly.

Relationship Status... miserable. He has no partner to soothe his sorrows or share his thoughts; he is completely alone. He tries to reach out to others to make friends, but everyone runs away in horror when they see him. And when the Creature finally sees his own reflection, he understands why. He is almost as scared by his own face as they are.

Challenge... getting revenge. His creator, Dr. Frankenstein, didn’t even give him a name, much less a soul. The Creature asks him, “Did you ever consider the consequences of your actions? You made me, and you left me to die. Who am I?” The Creature will make him pay for all his suffering.

Personality... depressed, angry, and fearless. The Creature is not human, but his emotions and needs are; he craves love and attention as much as anyone else. But unfortunately, The Creature is so desperate to be loved that he takes actions that make him even more hated.
