Living… with her two children in a nice house. She earns a good living, even if she has no time for herself.
Profession… therapist, author, and mother. Being a mother might be the toughest job of all, since her children (especially Anna) are hard to reign in.
Interests… lately, none. To be honest, Tess is completely mired in her work and wedding planning. Perhaps she will find some time for herself after the wedding!
Relationship Status… engaged. Her previous husband died three years ago, but Tess is ready to move on – even if her children may not be.
Challenge… getting Anna to understand her. Even as a therapist, Tess cannot seem to communicate with her daughter. Incredibly, Anna cannot understand why her mother’s wedding is more important than a band audition. Adding to her stress, Tess somehow switched bodies with her daughter – besides the freakiness of it all, this is the worst timing.
Personality… confident, straightforward, and self-righteous. Tess is unafraid to tell anyone her opinions and beliefs – even if they are not popular. As she explains to Anna, “Privacy is a privilege, not a right.”
