Teddy Flood

Overview... a romantic hero in a robotic body. Teddy is one of the “hosts” at Westworld, a Western fantasy playground for rich customers. Teddy doesn’t know about his robotic origins, however, he simply sees himself as a good man trying to survive in a dangerous Western world. Though he may have skeletons in his closet, his love for small-town girl Dolores keeps him going. Each day he arrives in the town of Sweetwater as part of his robotic “loop.”

Personality... charming, protective, and chivalrous. Teddy is designed to fit a classic romantic hero archetype. Though he’s not one to put down roots, he has an instinct to care for and protect the innocent. He’s a bold and brave sharpshooter with a softer side he keeps hidden from most people. Unlike some other hosts in the park, Teddy doesn’t challenge his robotic programming. In fact, his personality can shift when his creators decided to update his backstory.
