Tanner Howard

Overview... erratic bank robber who cares more about getting a drink after the heist than covering up his tracks. Tanner is pulling these jobs with his calmer brother Toby. Just a couple hundred dollars cash at nearby Texas Midland Banks. They need the money to pay off the reverse mortgage on their late mother’s land before the bank forecloses – and owns all the recently discovered oil on the property.

Personality... loud and unpredictable, but loyal. He’s been locked up before and isn’t afraid to go back behind bars… or worse. His brother’s family is in line to get the oil if their robberies pan out, so Tanner’s involved out of love for Toby and an even greater love for the rush of the robberies. Toby would be a lot more appreciative if Tanner didn’t improvise so much, though.
