Taki Tachibana

Living… in an apartment in Tokyo with his father. They don’t spend a lot of time with each other since both of them are usually outside. 

Profession… high school student. On some days after class, Taki is a waiter at Il Giardino Delle Parole, a luxury restaurant where he works with older colleagues. Tokyo is already an extremely fast-paced city, and Taki’s schedule is even more hectic than other students since he tackles his part-time job along with his studies.

Interests… art and architecture. Taki’s room is full of his sketches.

Relationship Status… single. Although Taki thinks he’s charming, he can be awkward when it comes to relationships. He has a crush on a senior at his job, but he can’t work up the nerve to ask her out. He’s shy when it comes to confessing his feelings. 

Challenge… living in Mitsuha’s body.  At first, he was fascinated after they switched bodies in their dreams. Taki especially enjoyed having feminine body parts. Though Taki is coming to realize that his dreams are now reality: he is taking on her life as a shrine maiden in a rural town. And he hasn’t quite gotten used to wearing a skirt.

Personality… blunt, outspoken and carefree. Taki is an open book, blurting out the first thing that’s on his mind rather than being more cautious with his words. He’s also persistent, determined to find out answers to his questions.
