Overview... the coolest guy at Hawkins (Ind.) High School. That’s one reason why it’s surprising when he starts making a play for Nancy Wheeler, a pretty but serious classmate who’s definitely not in the “A” crowd. It’s a little too early to know if Steve simply enjoys a challenge of deflowering a “good girl” or if he genuinely likes Nancy. Nancy’s best friend Barb definitely suspects it’s the former.
Personality... confident and charming. Even if you didn’t already know that Steve was a big man on campus, you’d probably guess once you spent just a little time around him. He’s effortlessly popular and knows how to get what he wants without seeming like (too much) of a jerk. But does he have any real substance beneath his smooth exterior?
