Skylar

Grew up…  going to a very good school in England after she inherited money from her late parents. “It was a kind of progressive, organic, do-it-yourself private school. Then Harvard. And then med school. You know, if you think about it, at the end, my brain’s going to be worth two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.”

Living… in a dorm room in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She’s finishing off her degree at Harvard and then she’s off to Stanford to become a doctor.

Visiting… Harvard bars around Cambridge, where she often runs into a lot of pretentious, book-quoting creeps. But every once in a while there’s a local guy who seems different.

Profession… a pre-med student bound for the NBA– at least according to her magic eight ball. If that doesn’t work, she’ll just go to Stanford as planned.

Relationship Status… dating Will Hunting, who she gets along with really well, despite the two coming from totally different worlds. Skylar appreciates Will’s combination of intelligence, candor, and sincerity– it’s refreshing after the last four years she’s spent with typical, pretentious Harvard students.  

Challenge… breaking down Will’s defenses. Despite the fact that Will does his best to keep Skylar at arm’s length, she falls in love with him quickly. Now, if only she could figure out how to convince him to admit he loves her, too.  

Personality… goofy, direct, and loving. Skylar is a sweet, smart girl who likes to laugh and have fun, despite being very serious about studying organic chemistry. She’s realistic, but impulsive, preferring to follow her gut instincts– at least when it comes to love.
