Grew up… with his business partners Tony Soprano, Ralph Cifaretto and Jackie Aprile, Sr. Silvio has been a “wise guy” for the majority of his life. He grew up speaking the language of the Mafioso, capisce?

Living… in Tony Soprano’s kingdom of North Jersey. Sil and his colleagues control everything that happens in the area from the offices of his strip club, The Bada Bing.

Profession… consigliere, or advisor, to Tony Soprano in their organized crime family. Silvio does the dirty work for Tony. If someone needs to be intimidated, Silvio is sent to set ‘em straight. He’s also Tony’s valued friend and confidant. When the boss admits that he’s been seeing a psychiatrist, Silvio is sympathetic: “A lot of top guys have dark moods. That Winston Churchill, drank a quart of brandy before breakfast.”

Interests… topless goomahs, or mistresses, at the Bada Bing. Sil also enjoys a nice game of cards every once in a while. Though he’s prone to complain whenever he finds himself low on chips: “I’m losin’ my balls over heeeere!”

Challenge… keeping his friends close, but his enemies closer. Sil’s job is to keep Tony’s team, and his business partners from rival or even supposedly friendly families and crews, in line. Silvio will often find himself in the path of an oncoming bullet or in the middle of a physical fight, but he’ll stand his ground whenever there’s a threat looming.

Personality… tough, yet playful. Silvio is known amongst his friends for his Michael Corleone impression. He often quotes the famous scene from The Godfather: Part III when Michael says, “Just when I thought I was out… They pulled me back in!” Silvio makes an excellent right-hand man because he keeps his cool. He knows how to defuse a situation with a little humor or some good perspective, but he’s also willing to knock heads if that’s what the situation demands. But he’s more comfortable being the trusted lieutenant than the general.
