Sephiroth

Grew up... in a laboratory run by the Shrina Electric Power Company. Sephiroth doesn’t know much about his past or his true parents, only that he was the result of a mysterious genetic experiment called the Jenova Project.

Living... in hibernation in the Northern Cave. Although he’s recently emerged from his deep sleep to enact his vengeance upon the world. Sephiroth has never had a real home or family to turn to.

Profession... aspiring god. A former warrior of the elite SOLDIER group, Sephiroth was famous and beloved by the public for his combat skills. However, after learning about his true origins, Sephiroth goes insane and leaves SOLDIER, declaring himself the “Chosen One” and announcing a one-man crusade against the “corruption” of mankind.

Interests… power. Believing himself to be the last member of a race of ancients that could directly communicate with the planet, Sephiroth wants nothing more than to seize the power of the Lifestream in order to become a god.

Relationship Status... single. Sephiroth is too corrupted by evil and fixated on power for love. The only person he cares about is his self-proclaimed mother, “Jenova,” whom he spends most of his time searching for.

Challenge... destroying what he sees as the corruption of humanity and controlling the Lifestream’s power with the ultimate goal of becoming a god. But he must defeat those who stand in his way, including the young Cloud Strife and his band of heroes.     

Personality... self-centered, ruthless, anti-social, and arrogant. The delusional Sephiroth becomes obsessed with power, thinking himself “the chosen one” of the planet. In order to achieve his evil ends, he’s willing to sacrifice and kill anyone in his path. As he tells Cloud during a confrontation, “Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away.”
