Selene

Grew up… almost 600 years ago. Selene was enjoying a comfortable, aristocratic existence, but it all changed when her family was slaughtered by werewolves. Selene would have been killed too if it hadn’t been for the vampire Viktor, who saved her life by turning her into an immortal bloodsucker.

Living… in a mansion on the edge of the city that serves as the headquarters for the vampiric coven. Viktor is the leader of their clan, but he’s been resting for years. He left Kraven in charge – a fact that Selene finds endlessly irritating.

Profession… Death-Dealer. Selene is one of an elite group of vampires that serve as fighters and assassins in their secret, centuries-old war against the werewolves. Every Death-Dealer is deadly, but Selene’s implacable hatred for Lycans makes her one of the best.

Interests… revenge. It’s been 600 years since the werewolves slaughtered her family, but Selene hasn’t found it in her heart to forgive them yet. The only thing that makes her feel better is spilling werewolf blood by the quart.

Relationship Status…single, for now. Kraven clearly wants her to be with him, but Selene is intrigued by someone else – Michael, a human that the Lycans have been following.

Challenge… protecting Michael and finding out why the Lycans have taken such an interest in him. There’s been some hints that Michael holds the key to a decisive victory in the war between the vampires and the Lycans, but neither Selene nor Michael knows what that might be. Selene is determined to find out, not just to gain the upper hand in the war, but also to protect the innocent (and attractive) Michael.

Personality…tough, merciless, and sexy. Selene has been a warrior for centuries, and it shows. When she fights, she makes sure her enemies go down and stay down. She hates the Lycans fiercely, but that hatred doesn’t make her blind. She’s a skeptic who takes nothing at face value.
