Scottie Ferguson

Overview... an ex-detective with a fear of heights. Ever since his partner died while leaping from a building during a chase, Scottie's been too crippled by his vertigo to return to work. All that changes, however, when his old friend Gavin asks Scottie to tail his wife, who claims she's being possessed. But Madeline is more alluring than Scottie had expected, and Gavin may be leaving out more than he's saying...  

Personality... intrepid, but unstable. Scottie does his best to be a good detective, but he's crippled by the trauma of losing his partner. However, he'll have to overcome his fear of heights if he is to have any chance in saving Madeline. Plus this case is getting more confusing by the minute. The more Scottie tries to unravel the string, however, the more tangled things become.
