Living… alone in an apartment that is on the verge of being repossessed. 

Visiting… New Orleans with the “Flossy Posse,” her group of friends from college in the 1990’s. Once inseparable friends, they have all taken divergent paths. But they’re reuniting for a girls’ trip thanks to their rich friend, Ryan Pierce, who is speaking at the Essence Festival. Thanks to Ryan, they have VIP backstage passes to the Superdome where performers include Bell Biv DeVoe, Common, Maxwell, Mariah Carey and Sean “Diddy” Combs. 

Profession… entrepreneur. After graduating magna cum laude from Florida A&M with a degree in Literature, Sasha founded her celebrity gossip blog, Sasha Secrets. Her work has been featured in Time magazine, The New Yorker, New York magazine, Essence magazine, and on websites of Glamour and Vogue. But the blog’s viewership is declining, and the interest on her loans are rising.   

Interests… expensive clothes. Despite her financial troubles, Sasha has quite a shopping addiction. 

Relationship Status… single and looking.

Challenge… repairing her friendship with Ryan. When Ryan nixed their website deal, their friendship broke apart too. Sasha had hoped that the trip will bring them closer together, but she founds out some bad news about Ryan’s husband that she is afraid will ruin the trip—not to mention ruin Ryan’s life. 

Personality… over the top. Sasha makes a lot of false promises and tends to exaggerate things, but she is dedicated to her friends.
