Grew up… with two sisters, an overworked mother, and a drunk father.
Living… in New York since some point in the 1970s. Though Samantha is always coy when it comes to the timeline of her life. Whatever her age may be, Samantha will always be young at heart.
Interests… parties and sex. Samantha is a big believer in having as much fun as possible with other consenting adults. She’s made a name for herself in Manhattan society as what she calls “a ‘try-sexual’ – I’ll try anything once.” Samantha is also a freelance love guru: her friends often turn to her for advice on what to do in bed and how to do it well.
Relationship Status… perennially single. Samantha loves dating and sex but can have difficulty making a real emotional connection. She doesn’t believe that there is one particular person out there for each of us. Samantha just wants to have as much fun as she can while she can still have it. Samantha is a 21st Century woman, unrestrained by cultural conventions that cheat women out of the conscience-free fun that men have been having for centuries: “I will not be judged by you or society. I will wear whatever, and bl-- whomever I want, as long as I can breathe and kneel.”
Challenge… seemingly none. Nothing phases Samantha.
Personality… honest, tough, and loyal. Samantha is always willing to listen to her friends’ problems and offer sound advice. She’s been around slightly longer than Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, so she’s got a fair amount of experience to draw from.
