Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview... there are many reasons not to invade Russia in the winter. But if you were to ask any of the other Allied Powers, they would mostly likely point to Ivan himself. Lying somewhere between East and West, the personification of Russia has always come off as a little... odd to the other countries, and the oddness has only intensified in recent years. Still, Russia is an ally to the Allied crew, and his military might is more than welcome in the fight against the Axis Powers – even if his personality is less so.
Personality... cheerful, often childish, and deeply unstable. Years of brutal winters, foreign invasions, and crippling loneliness have left Russia's mental state far from wholly intact. Add to that the recent revolution in Petrograd and the death toll of two world wars, and it's not hard to see why his allies are often scared of him. Still, more than anything, what Russia wants is friends – and he's willing to do anything to keep them. Anything.
