Character Analysis

Overview… a baby who loves to go exploring. Phil spends most of his time playing (and arguing) with his twin sister Lil. He also loves to play with their friends Tommy and Chuckie, especially if it means doing gross things like eating bugs and storing in his diaper the moldy things he finds in the couch.
Personality… adventurous, laid-back, and friendly. Phil loves to have fun with his fellow babies. Not much phases Phil, and he’ll support his friends when they need him.

Tommy faces responsibility when Dil, his new baby brother, is born. As with all newborns, the child becomes a bane to Tommy and the rest of his gang. They decide to return Dil to where he came from, the hospital, but they get lost along the way. Can they find their way home and can Tommy and Dil learn to get along?

Rugrats follows a group of young children: Susie, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica. They mostly just want to have fun. But, for Angelica, it also means a near-professional level of manipulation of other children and adults so she can get what she wants, whether that's the latest toy or for the babies to act like her personal servants.
