Character Analysis

Overview... a two-year-old scaredy-cat with glasses, allergies, and a single dad. The world is a big, scary place and Chuckie is friends with other babies who love to go on adventures. For him, the only thing worse than worrying about all the ways something could go wrong is being left behind. But, luckily, Chuckie’s best friend Tommy is there to always support Chuckie and inspire him to be brave. And you know what? Chuckie usually discovers he’s braver than he thinks he is.
Personality... nervous, shy, and loyal. Chuckie is cautious about a lot of things, like clowns, cats, and germs. But, he will also stand by his friends no matter what, and if they go on an adventure he is likely to be there alongside them supporting them with his naturally kind demeanor.

Tommy faces responsibility when Dil, his new baby brother, is born. As with all newborns, the child becomes a bane to Tommy and the rest of his gang. They decide to return Dil to where he came from, the hospital, but they get lost along the way. Can they find their way home and can Tommy and Dil learn to get along?

Rugrats follows a group of young children: Susie, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica. They mostly just want to have fun. But, for Angelica, it also means a near-professional level of manipulation of other children and adults so she can get what she wants, whether that's the latest toy or for the babies to act like her personal servants.
