Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview... an ex-student still living on a student's budget. Rasholnikov might not study law any longer, but that's only because he has enough trouble keeping himself fed. Stressed, depressed, and on the verge of starving, Rasholnikov is starting to consider desperate measures to get out of this mess – even murder.
Personality... intelligent and thoughtful, but troubled. It's hard to peg Rasholnikov as either "good" or "bad," since he's capable of both great kindness and horrific cruelty. But his temper makes him mercurial and in his attempts to become a "great man," Rasholnikov might be sliding closer and closer to villainy.
