Character Analysis

Living… in Seven Tower in New York City. As Vought has so generously provided their supes with free training, housing, and office space. That makes it easier to monitor their valuable supes, of course.
Profession… member of The Seven, Earth’s mightiest superhero team. As A-Train describes himself, “I am the world’s fastest man. Like, I can outrun anybody or anything.” But it’s getting competitive in the high ranks though, and A-Train is on edge knowing he must beat all the new challengers for his position in The Seven. A-Train worries constantly about losing his place in The Seven when he gets beaten by some other, faster superhero. His brother Nathan has been his running coach since he was small, but human means aren’t enough anymore. A-Train can see the other fast supes catching up to him, and he will look to surer ways of enhancing his skills, securing his victory. Everyone wants to be at the top, and A-Train will do anything he has to stay there.
Relationship Status… involved with Popclaw, his special girl at home. Of course, he isn’t allowed or doesn’t want to tell that to the public. It’s a recurring point of tension with Popclaw. The celebrity status of supes, and the public image he must maintain, means that relationships and other people come second. The only person A-Train seems to truly care about is Popclaw, but their relationship has become strained after Popclaw let out Compound V’s secret and refused to tell A-Train what happened.
Challenge… keeping Compound V under wraps. With all the pressure he puts on himself to keep his fame and power, A-Train uses Compound V as a performance enhancer to stay “the fastest man alive.” A dangerous substance, it has led A-Train to run through people, killing them while he’s on that high. Who knows if it’s the supe life or if he’s always been like this, but A-Train displays little remorse for those that he’s murdered. He’s more concerned with covering up the evidence so that he can continue enjoying his celebrity life.
Personality… selfish, careless, and prideful. A-Train has cheated and murdered to keep his position in The Seven. He’s dismissive of anyone less powerful than him and shows little empathy for people in general, often laughing off the murders he commits.
