(Avoiding Spoilers)
Grew Up... in the circus. Razputin “Raz” Aquato was raised to perform in the big top. His father forced him to train as an acrobat and forbade him from learning about his latent psychic powers.
Living... in Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp. Fed up with his old life, Raz snuck into a hidden government camp designed to train young psychics like him. Although denied at first, the counselors eventually allowed him to mingle with the other campers and begin “Basic Braining.”
Profession... Psychonaut. Though he’s still just a kid, Raz is training to be a Psychonaut, a psychic government agent tasked with using their abilities to protect the world. As he says, “All in a day’s work for a Psychonaut.”
Interests... developing his powers. Raz loves exploring his mental powers that have been denied to him his whole life. However, he can’t overcome the strange gypsy curse put on his family that prevents him from entering water.
Relationship Status... in love. Soon after joining the camp, Raz fell in love with fellow psychic Lili Zanotto, who just so happens to be the daughter of the Grand Head of the Psychonauts. Fortunately, she likes him too and they begin dating, or at least the kids’ equivalent of “dating.”
Challenge... getting over his fears. Raz still harbors a lot of doubts about himself after his unhappy upbringing. Unfortunately, these feelings threaten to weaken his powers, so to become a true Psychonaut he’ll have to overcome them.
Personality... talented and curious, but shy and insecure. Raz is a 10-year-old boy who mostly stays in his own head, which makes sense since that’s where he is strongest. Only after joining the camp does he begin to blossom.
