Living… in Spain with her daughter and her mother, who is suffering from dementia. She loves them both more than anything.
Profession… police officer. She is excellent at her job, but she doesn’t get the respect she deserves from her fellow officers. After she filed abusive charges against her now ex-husband who was also a detective, many of the male police officers took his side and now criticize her every move.
Relationship Status… single. But she has started talking to an intriguing man named Salva who lent her his phone during a late-night coffee run to a nearby diner.
Challenge… bringing down the plans that a group of thieves who have taken hostages at the Royal Mint of Spain in Madrid. It’s an intricate scheme that was undertaken by a man who goes by the name of The Professor who thought of every detail down to the Salvador Dali masks the thieves wear. She has been brought in to negotiate with him. Awkwardly, Raquel’s violent ex-husband Alberto is the best forensic investigator in the department and has been assigned as her partner.
Personality… focused, brilliant, and persistent. She has unrelenting determination and does well under pressure. Raquel refuses to be outsmarted by thieves or undermined by the men in her department.
