Grew Up… in a loving family. As Pamela says, “I’m a good Christian girl from a small town in Canada.”
Living… in California in the 1990s. She and her husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, share an expensive home they’ve been renovating in Malibu. They needed some electrical work done, which did not go as planned. After Tommy refused to pay the electrician because he didn’t like his services, their life has never been the same. It appears someone (perhaps the electrician) leaked a sex tape on the Internet that Pamela and Tommy made early on in their marriage. Although the Internet is in its early stages, the tape is getting both Pamela and Tommy a lot of publicity. But it’s not the type of attention Pamela is looking for.
Profession… actress, model, and activist. Pamela rose to fame after her features in Playboy Magazine in the late ‘80s. And she’s popular for her role as C.J Parker on Baywatch in which her usual wardrobe is a tight red swimsuit. Pamela wants to be taken seriously as an actress, so she’s hoping to get a new movie role that will showcase her acting talents.
Interests… musicals. Pamela has a soft spot for musicals, especially those she grew up with, and enjoys sharing them with those around her.
Relationship Status… complicated. Her relationship with Tommy has always been a passionate and emotional one. When they first met, it was love at first sight, and they got married after only four days of knowing each other. But the sex tape is adding to some conflicts that have been brewing for a while. And on top of that, they’re facing challenges trying to start a family.
Challenge… asserting herself. In the entertainment world, Pamela has always been treated as a dumb blonde with a great figure. She’s deeper than that, and she wants people to view her as more than just a sex symbol. And that’s becoming even more challenging since the sex tape was leaked. She and Tommy are determined to fight back, including filing a suit against Penthouse to prevent the magazine from printing naked pictures of her from the tape.
Personality… strong-willed, passionate, and determined. Pamela is someone who loves deeply, and the sex tape from her honeymoon is proof of the passion she has for Tommy. Humble and insecure, she is not comfortable being the center of attention—especially when it involves her naked body. Other celebrities may feed off the type of publicity she receives, but Pamela is becoming more depressed the more famous she becomes.
