Grew Up... on an American military base in Tokyo. She saw her own father and mother murdered before she was a teenager. She swore revenge on Boss Matsumoto, her parents’ killer. By the time she was a teenager she had exacted her revenge, and became a professional killer.
Living… as one of the most dangerous women in Tokyo. Although the Tokyo mafia, the Yakuza, looks down upon her half-Chinese, half-Japanese heritage, she makes it clear that anyone who brings it up in a bad light gets his or her head chopped off. O-Ren is extremely skilled at swordplay, which she honed during her with the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, a team of assassins led by Bill.
Profession… leader of a crime organization in Tokyo. Known as the “queen of the Tokyo underworld,” Ishii earned her title through her political campaigning and her combat skills.
Interests… power, katanas, and marksmanship. O-Ren also trained with sniper rifles, and is excellent at killing her targets from a great distance.
Relationship Status… single. She is married to her life in the Yakuza. And she has a huge group of henchman, called The Crazy 88, to keep her entertained.
Challenge… remain on the throne of the crime world in Tokyo. Although her fellow mafia members are too afraid of her to mutiny, there is one person who has sworn revenge on O-Ren – a person whose life O-Ren ruined by killing her husband-to-be and sending her into a coma for years.
Personality… professional, cold, and uncompromising. When O-Ren needs her henchmen to heed an order, she’ll scream until it’s done. Her only punishment for insubordinates is decapitation. O-Ren rules her troops without mercy, and for that she is respected.
