Norman Bates

Grew Up… in Arizona with his father Sam and his mother Norma. Norman had a relatively peaceful childhood, at least as far as he can remember. It wasn’t until his father died unexpectedly that things began to go wrong.

Living… in the Bates Motel in White Pine Bay, Oregon. Norman and his mother moved to the Northwest in search of a new start after his father’s “accident.” Now, Norman finds himself in an unfamiliar town, surrounded by odd occurrences.

Profession… student. Norman is a particularly bright young man. He shows a talent for his schoolwork, and he’s grown rather fond of his English teacher, Miss Watson. The feeling, it appears, is mutual.

Relationship Status… single. But he’s attracted to the kind and beguiling Bradley Martin, one of the most popular girls in his new school. Though Norman’s mother doesn’t approve of his newfound friendship with Bradley – she’d rather keep him all to herself.

Challenge… figuring out what exactly is wrong with him. Norman tends to forget things; his memory fails him at the times that he needs it the most. Despite his generally kind and quiet personality, he’s also prone to violent outbursts, and can’t seem to figure out just what to do about them.

Personality… introverted, shy, and quiet. Norman’s demons are not easily recognizable on the outside. Generally speaking, he is kind and friendly, though it’s best not to get on his bad side. He’s especially protective of his mother. Maybe a little too protective.
