Grew Up… in Stalingrad, Russia. From a very early age, she was trained to become a world-class assassin for hire. Being exceptionally good at murder earns her the nickname Black Widow.
Living… across the world on official S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) business. Her latest task is convincing the Hulk, the not-so-jolly green giant, to join their ranks.
Profession… S.H.I.E.L.D agent and Avengers member. The Avengers are a team of superheroes brought together by S.H.I.E.L.D to save the world from evil forces.
Interests… martial arts, interrogation, and hacking. She is the ultimate spy.
Relationship Status… single, after a fling with Hawkeye. She reveals to the villain Loki, a trickster Norse god, that Hawkeye and her had a history, but that "love is for children."
Challenge… being part of a team, which isn’t easy for Natasha. She hates talking about her past, but it’s causing a lot of problems in her present. Natasha needs to deal with that so she can get back to saving the world.

When Tony Stark is assigned to give a weapons presentation to an Iraqi unit led by Lt. Col. James Rhodes, he's given a ride on enemy lines. That ride ends badly when Stark's Humvee that he's riding in is attacked by enemy combatants. He survives—barely—with a chest full of shrapnel and a car battery attached to his heart. In order to survive he comes up with a way to miniaturize the battery and figures out that the battery can power something else. Thus Iron Man is born.
