Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Living… in a state of panic. When Mr. Pink sees that everything’s gone all wrong on a heist job, he moves into full-on survival mode.

Profession… professional criminal. He’s currently working a diamond caper with five other pros. Each guy has a specialty and an alias. Mr. Brown is the driver. Blue and Blonde are crowd control. Mr. Orange watches the door and Mr. Pink and White get the diamonds from the manager. When things get hairy, it’s every man for himself – which is pretty much Mr. Pink’s life philosophy.

Interests… self-preservation. Mr. Pink is a survivor and is single-mindedly self-interested, though he’s willing to work in a team if that’s what it takes. After their diamond caper goes horribly awry, Mr. Pink wastes no time in expressing his agenda. “I’m dealing with the situation!” he shouts at Mr. White. “You’re acting like a first year thief. I’m acting like a professional! If they get him, they can get you. They get you, they get closer to me, and that can’t happen!”

Relationship Status… unknown. Mr. Pink is tight-lipped about all things personal.

Challenge… “dealing with the situation.” When things go all wrong, Mr. Pink is the first to suspect a set-up. “Somebody’s shoving a red hot poker up our asses and I wanna find out whose name is on the handle.” Mr. Pink has to figure out how and why things went wrong. If he can figure out who’s setting them up, he might be able to avoid hard time or a bullet.

Personality… a consummate professional. He is also unabashedly selfish, refusing to even tip his servers in restaurants. He strives to always be logical, and takes his time thinking through everything he does. Mr. Pink can’t stand nonsense and doesn’t understand why everyone else lets their emotions cloud their thinking.
