Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Overview… an irrepressible spirit who loves pushing boundaries. When America was replaced with the ultra-religious, ultra-conservative Republic of Gilead, Moira was outspoken about her opposition. Unfortunately, Gilead does not appreciate activism, and Moira has been repeatedly captured and forced to play her part ever since.

Personality… clever, funny, and sexy. Moira is a loud and proud lesbian feminist whose whole identity is in opposition to Gilead’s orthodox values, and she shows it through both jokes and daring actions. But even her independent nature cannot fully protect her against the crushing weight of an oppressive society.
