Dracula
Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview... at home in England waiting for the love of her life, Jonathan Harker. In the meantime, Mina engages in the normal daily routines of Victorian women, gossiping and holding court with a number of socialites and suitors. Unfortunately, she is also being hunted by a Transylvanian vampire named Count Dracula.
Personality… quaint and polite. Mina follows the customs of Victorian society. Her friend Lucy lives a life more on the edge, but Mina is very well-behaved and enjoys her simple life of letter-writing and the like. Of course, that makes her an even juicier target for Dracula, who feels that he has a special connection with her that goes back lifetimes rather than years.

A popular bestseller in Victorian England, Stoker's hypnotic tale of the bloodthirsty Count Dracula, whose nocturnal atrocities are symbolic of an evil ages old yet forever new, endures as the quintessential story of suspense and horror. The unbridled lusts and desires, the diabolical cravings that Stoker dramatized with such mythical force, render Dracula resonant and unsettling a century later.
